Metz Axio 42 FHD CT

The Metz Axio family has a new large-format addition. Now appearing, The Axio 42 FHD CT is now being introduced, with the familiar professional, elegant design, and with shines with new technical features. Thanks to brilliantly clear full HD screen resolution and mecavision picture technology, the high-quality LCD TV is extremely impressive, due to its outstanding picture quality and precise motion display. The fully digital Metz signal concept, with its integrated DVB-T and DVB-C tuner, is especially convenient.  And the new model is also equipped for the future: a HDTV module can be easily retrofitted for high-resolution viewing. High-end sound and an outstandingly well thought-out operating menu complete the TV experience.
 

Reliably good image and sound technologies 

Thanks to the fully digital Metz signal concept, the sound and picture reproduction of the Metz Axio FHD CT are of the highest quality. The mecavision picture technology, with its intelligent perfect contrast, thereby ensures the best sharpness and brilliant colours. The Axio masterfully handles even the most difficult motifs, patterns or colour edges. HDTV retrofitting also means that it is equipped for the future.
The SRS WOW® system is deployed for high-quality sound. It provides even better preparation of the audio signals. If a movie sound track is to be output through an audio system, then this is naturally also possible via the Metz Axio 42 FHD CT. Surround sound fans can direct the multichannel sound (e.g. 5.1 Dolby Digital) provided by the television to their sound systems, and they can also use the Axio speaker as the central unit. 
 

Versatile and sustainable

The modular design of the Metz LCD televisions is unique in the world. This is because the configuration of the Metz Axio 42 FHD CT, with a hybrid tuner for digital and analogue reception via cable and antenna, is both versatile and sustainable. It can be converted to digital satellite reception at any time, depending on the reception situation.
Even changing transmission and reception standards is not a problem for Axio. The common interface slots in particular provide a convenient way to bring the world of encrypted channels into your own living room.
In addition, the Metz Axio 42 FHD CT has a variety of digital and analogue interfaces available.
 

Metz operating menu – clearly-structured and award-winning

The clearly-organised user interface of the Axio 42 FHD CT is quite convincing. The user-friendly menus make use of precisely defined, highly legible fonts. The user can thus enjoy the categorised Teletext and the Metz Tri-Star menu, in which the range of functions can be reduced in three stages, depending on whether the user wants to go into the technical details or concentrate on basic functions. In addition, there are sensor fields on the set for direct control which respond to the lightest touch
