Sirius, Talio, and Axio receive Awards

The award ceremonies for the Plus X Award 2009 took place in Cologne on May 19, 2009. That is where three Metz LCD TVs were awarded the innovative technology prize. The main winner among the Metz televisions was the Sirius 42 FHDTV 100 R, which received the Plus X Award in the Design, High Quality, and Operating Comfort categories. The last two awards were also given to the Talio 37 HDTV CTS 2. The Axio 32 CT also received an award for its outstanding operating comfort. The awards of the Plus X Award are another confirmation of the Metz company philosophy and the associated clear commitment to high-quality products “Made in Germany”.

The Plus X Award

Since 2004, Plus X Award has been honouring manufacturers for the edge in quality of their products. Awards are presented in the categories of Innovation, Design, User Convenience, High Quality, Ergonomics and Eco Friendliness. This contributes to the recognition culture with regard to innovative enterprises, which think about tomorrow today. Each year, a panel of eminent judges made up of specialist journalists decides which products are to receive an award.
